Download and Printing Instructions

Power Point Presentations can be downloaded from the DECC site and viewed on your local machine.  The download process varies slightly between Internet Explore and Netscape. 

In Internet Explorer, click on a link to the file you want to download.  The file download window appears.  Click on Open to launch MS Power Point and to view the file.  You can also click on Save to save the file to a folder of your choice.

In Netscape, click on a link to the file you want to download.  The warning  window appears with the name of the file and other minor information.  Click on Open it to launch MS Power Point.   You will need to switch to the Slide Show screen to run the presentation.  You can also click on Save it to disk to save the file to a folder of your choice.

Adobe Acrobat Files (PDF Files)

In Internet Explorer, click on a link to the file you want to download.  Your acrobat reader is launched automatically.  Alternatively, you can right-mouse click on a link to a PDF file. From the pop menu that appears, click on Save Target As...  Change directories and filename if desired and click on Save to complete the process.

In Netscape, click on a link to the file you want to download.  Your acrobat reader is launched automatically.  Alternatively, you can right-mouse click on a link to a PDF file. From the pop menu that appears, click on Save Link As...  Change directories and filename if desired and click on Save to complete the process.

Compressed (Zipped) Files

In Internet Explorer, click on a link to the compressed file you want to download.  Click on Save.  Change directories and filename if desired and click on Save to complete the process.

In Netscape, click on a link to the compressed file you want to download.  Click on Save Link As...  Change directories and filename if desired and click on Save to complete the process.

Get a Copy of Acrobat Reader for your PDF files

 If you don't have acrobat reader, obtain a copy from the Adobe Acrobat  (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html) web site.

If you don't have WINZIP, obtain a copy from the Winzip (http://www.winzip.com/) web site.
