SEMINARS
“E-COMMERCE FOR RURAL BUSINESSES”
Free Educational Seminars
Learn
how to develop e-commerce for your rural business!
Louisiana Tech
University’s Delta E-Commerce Connection and Small Business Development
Center
will
provide the training through a Fund for Rural America Rural Community
Innovation grant from the U.S.D.A. aimed at developing rural businesses’
presence on the world-wide-web. This new tool – called e-commerce – is
opening up world markets to all businesses regardless of size or location.
As a part of the grant funding, Louisiana Tech University will provide one
year of technical assistance and a basic package of web services for
selected businesses that meet specific criteria. Businesses applying for
the free technical assistance under the project are required to
attend one e-commerce seminar where they complete an application for
technical support.
